With the issue of communal situation of the country taking centre stage, the national executive committee of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has decided to hold “Aman March” all across the nation on 13th August next month. The National Executive will instruct its local units spread over the country to organize Peace March in their respective cities and areas with full vigor. The JUH took this decision to respond positively and in a constructive manner to the atmosphere of hate. Jamiat National General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani briefed media that Jamiat was the largest Muslim organization having branches to the block level in the most of the sates, so this “Aman march” shall have great effect and shall be instrumental in sending out message of peace.
A daylong meeting held at JUH central office at ITO New was chaired by Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman, the national president of the organization.
In other decision, Jamiat national executive also issued guidelines to its local units and Islamic madarsas to celebrate “Independence Day celebration” and ensure participation of government officials and important personalities of the other religions in the celebration.
The national executive constituted a committee comprising Maulana Mahmood Madani, national General Secretary, Mufti Salman Mansurpori, Maulana Matinul Haq Osama, Maulana Moizuddin Ahmad and Maulana Niaz Ahmad Farooqui to chalk out a plan for setting up social media desk In order to respond about negative image of Islam and to reach out young generation.
About the growing tension in the Middle East, the National Executive passed a resolution appealing to international community to use their power and strength to prevent Israel from committing atrocity upon innocent Palestinians and to remove restrictions imposed on offering of prayers in Masjide Aqsa so that pilgrims could offer their prayers without any hindrance over there. The national executive also made some decisions about training of JUH workers and holding its managing committee conference.
