New Delhi, May 15, 2019:-
Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind expressed solidarity with Palestinian recalling the horrific day of 15th of May 1948 when a Zionist state was created in the Middle East on the land of Palestine. In a solidarity message, Jamiat President Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman Mansoorpuri and JUH General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani supported the Palestinian‘s right to return to their homeland saying that on this day in 1948, 71 years too long ago-- the entire world witnessed a heinous crime against humanity when half of Indigenous Palestinians were expelled from their homeland and new chapter of settler colonialism was founded with apartheid in the Middle East. They were scattered across refugee camps in the cramped West Bank, the Gaza Strip and Palestine’s neighboring countries. Now, over five million Palestinian refugees are estimated to be still displaced.
The Zionist terrorist and one of the founders of illegitimate Israel, Ben Gurion said on that occasion that, “the old will die and the young will forget.” but the brave Palestinians have not forgotten which they have been forced to forget and they still insist on the right to return to their Homeland.
